📚✨ Here’s a look at what’s happening at our school this week! ✨📚

We have a busy and exciting week ahead filled with special moments and important reminders!

📸 Wednesday, January 14th is picture day for Clubs, Classes, and our 6th Grade Panoramic—lots of smiles will be captured as we preserve these memories!

📝 Metro E Families: Please remember that Letters of Intent for the 2026–2027 school year are due this Wednesday, January 14th. Be sure to get those turned in on time!

🌌🚌 On Friday, January 16th, our 5th grade students will be heading out on a field trip to the planetarium for an out-of-this-world learning experience!

🇺🇸❤️ After a full week, we will observe a 3-day weekend in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. There will be no school on Monday, January 19th as we reflect on Dr. King’s legacy of service, equality, and kindness.

Thank you for your continued support—we’re looking forward to a great week together!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I want to inform you that beginning tomorrow, pending inclement weather, construction will begin on the front side of our school, opposite the existing parking lot. This project will include the development of a new parking lot to support our growing campus needs.

You will notice fencing being installed tomorrow, and construction work will begin shortly thereafter. At this time, arrival and dismissal procedures will remain the same and should not be affected by the construction. However, if any adjustments become necessary, we will communicate those changes to you promptly.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to improve our campus for our students, staff, and families. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Thank you,
Justin Milner

Corpus Christi ISD is proud to announce the next phase of its 1:1 for everyone, which expands access to digital learning tools for all grade levels. During the 2025–26 school year, students in grades K–12 will have access to a district-issued device. Students in grades 3 through 5 will have access to a 1:1 device while at school, and students in grades 6-12 will have a device directly assigned to them for use at school and home. Families of students in grades 3–8 will also have the option to request that their child’s device be sent home for extended learning opportunities. Highlights of the Initiative: Internet filters: All devices will be equipped with internet filtering to help ensure safe browsing at school and home. Insurance options: Families will have access to device insurance options ranging from $15-$30, which can be found on the school webstore. Student Technology Service Center: Certified high school student technicians will continue to provide device repair and maintenance through the Student Technology Service Center, supporting both sustainability and career-ready skills development. “Providing devices for each student ensures equitable access districtwide and enables students to take learning beyond the four walls of the classroom, when appropriate,” said Director of Technology Support Services Janelle Reyes. To learn more about the 1:1 Student Device Initiative—including FAQs, please visit ccisd.us/page/technology-services or reach out through Let’s Talk or by contacting Technology Services by texting (361) 600-3691 or emailing Let’s Talk at ccisd.tx@k12-lets-talk.com
